Congratulations, you made it to 2022! We hope you enjoyed the holidays with your loved ones, and also that you got some much deserved time to rest and reset after the long year that was 2021.

We're very grateful for all the work we've done with you, our clients, and very excited for many projects to come this year. Let's kick this year with the best energy and make it better than the last one, shall we?

Alright, we're only a few days into 2022 and there's big changes coming up already. There's a major WordPress release in the works, which is very exciting, as well as a brand new TUX-P version available. Keep on reading to find more about what's new.

WordPress 5.9 will be released to the public on January 25th, 2022. If you have a TUX-P website, your online business will be updated as soon as the new version is released.

The release will focus on block and website editing features such as:

• Intrinsic web design to blocks
• Improved block patterns
• Navigation menus
• Editing flows for block themes
• More design tools

The WordPress content team are working on making the block tools more responsive and intuitive, making it easier for you to edit as an author.

There's also plenty of enhancements and bug fixes coming with 5.9.

Welcome to TUX-P 14! We don't like to brag but our latest release is pretty awesome (just kidding, we love to brag). We've improved compatibility with WordPress 5.8.3, the current version. It includes security updates, bug fixes and a boost in performance.

We also now have new menu functionalities such as:

• Fullscreen off-canvas menu with images defined for each item.
• Ability to add icons to specific menu items.

There's also available the option to add an estimated reading time to blog posts.

If you find any bugs, please open a ticket at your TUX Client Dashboard. 

Of course, once WordPress 5.9 is out, TUX-P will be updated to be 100% compatible with the newest version.
