WordPress 5.6 “Simone” was released to the public on December 8, 2020. If you are reading this and have TUX-P website, it means your business just got updated. Changes you might note as author:

1. Greater layout flexibility
2. More & New Guttenberg Blocks
3. Better video captioning
4. Accessibility statement (when needed)
5. Built-In patterns (they let you master complex layouts with minimal effort)
6. Security Fixes & Preparation for PHP 8 (which will make your website faster & more dynamic when fully released)

Check WordPress 5.6 announcement for more information on this release. The next big update is scheduled for March 2021.

Just in time to ensure compatibility with WordPress 5.6, we have updated TUX-P, it includes the following features:

1. WooCommerce 4.7 hiding WPBakery front-end editor
2. WordPress 5.6 hiding button groups in the admin panel
3. WordPress 5.6 WPbakery page builder button hidden when creating new pages/posts
4. Updated WPBakery Page Builder to latest version (6.4.2)
5. Misc security updates and bug fixes.

This means your website is now 100% compatible with the latest WordPress version. If you find any bugs, please open a ticket at your TUX Client Dashboard.
